This is a self portrait and if you have ever seen me, then you might say "your hair isn't that long." But I was just drawing this and the first thing I thought of was me.
That's a great drawing Meredith, but I suggest that you stop blogging right now because you're too good already...and you might also have more hits than you're Dad, and he won't be happy.
Meredith, I love your portrait. I love the fact that you are not looking at us. What were you looking at an thinking about when you drew this? Thanks to your inspiring work I have started my own blog. When you get a chance check it out and let me know what you think.
meredith, this is wonderful. i am also curious to know what you were thinking of when you drew this. i also love the simplicity of this drawing.
lately i have been painting horses. i loved drawing horses when i was little (hey, wait a minute.. i am still little!) i did not draw people until i was well into high school. but check out the blog: kimberlymzamlich.blogspot.com. i await a full color painting on canvas from you. it's really, really fun!
I didn't get a chance to comment on this one till now! I love the expression!
This portrait of you says so much, it is really cool. I have always liked drawing faces too. Maybe I will do a self portrait and you can tell me what you think?
